My boyfriend had never been, so we decided to check it out. Kind of a gloomy day when we were there, but it was fun to walk around and see all of the sculptures. There was food truck there which I though was a great idea! Will definitely be back.
A great place to check out some local art, go for a walk, or listen to a concert. The hot metal pour they do every February and August is also fun, and a neat opportunity to see art in action.
Fantastic hidden gem. Sculpture garden amongst the prairie grasses is amazing. We loved walking around, climbing on some and reading about the artists. Free admission and donations appreciated. I bet it’s nice to come here in summer as they have a small amphitheater and it’s all outdoors. They are working on an expansion project so we will definitely come back again!
We brought our dogs here to explore the park. The dogs absolutely loved it and there was plenty of space around the park to walk without them getting bored. My husband and I loved seeing (and climbing) on the many sculptures. There is a huge variety of sculptures and it was very fun to see what people created and why. We highly recommend, especially for kids because there is a lot to climb on/explore!
The sculptures are BIG and kids can climb on them. The placards giving artist and artwork background are very interesting and brief. The artists come from around the entire globe. This place is an absolute must for families with kids and anyone who enjoys art, outdoors or both. I can't believe it's free. Please donate generously when you visit.
